The man in me will hide sometimes to keep from bein' seen, but that's just because he doesn't want to turn into some machine (Bob Dylan – The man in me). My obsessions get me known throughout the school for being strange (Belle & Sebastian - Expectations): I've got too much on my mind; I think of everything to be discovered - I hope there's something to find (Paul McCartney – Ever present past)… I have my books and my poetry to protect me (Simon & Garfunkel – I am a rock). My mind's distracted and defused.
